What is Web Hosting (Hosting)?

I already have a domain registered somewhere. What now?
When starting your hosting signup process, you can enter your domain and the result will come back as "not available" and you can then select the transfer feature to transfer the domain to us. If you prefer, you can log into your domain hosting provider and change the name servers to our server and still host your website with us.
Which Hosting Product Should I Choose?
Our packages are all based on size. Speed and other factors do not play a role. All our packages offer the same speed and unlimited website traffic. Think about what disc space you will need and how many email addresses and then choose accordingly.
How are Hosting Prices Determined?
Like most things in life, you get what you pay for. You will see offers of website hosting for R20 a month. When it seems to good to be true, it always is. We are proud of offering our clients a seamless service. You will thanks us later.
When will my hosting service be activated?
Our systems are now all automated. Once you have selected your hosting package and domain, the system will automatically register your domain and activate your hosting package. For a domain registration, even though it is immediately registered, it can take between 2 and 4 hours to propagate (settle in the realm of the world wide web.)
Do I pay any hidden fees?
The price you see, is the price you get. If anything changes, we will communicate this with you and give you enough notice. There are no hidden fees.
I want to transfer my website to you. Do you do this?
We we do. We wish there was a button we could push to quickly do this, but our support staff will assist you with transferring your website data across to our server.
What is free SSL?
When you open your hosting account with us, we automatically issue you with a SSL Certificate which is now a standard requirement for all websites. Google will not rank you if you do not have an https:// website. Also, no bank will allow any e-commerce transactions without this. We offer this service for free.
info@example.com Can I get an email address like this?
Once your hosting account is up and running you can create anything@yourdomain.com. You are in control of everything in front of the @ sign.
Do you perform the backup operations?
Indeed we do. We use JetBackup which backs up your website every day. We keep the data in another secure location for safety. Restoring is a simple click of the button.
What are security precautions?
Our technical support team are well trained not to share any of your information with any third party. We are also proud of the fact that our clients have names and not numbers so we usually know who we are talking to.
